Leave my face ALONE!!!

According to the common South Korean my cheekbones are BARELY acceptable, jawline is just small enough to not be shaved down to a more western tiny lady shape but the bridge between my eyes is TOO flat and it requires that a bit from my hip bone be grafted there. All for beauty. All for Korea. What a sham.

What’s so bemusing is there is only acceptance and no backlash against this.

At least the only complexes I can have here in “western” society is my lack of height and general anxieties about aging and weight.

BLeck. Yuck.

Boris Keep Your Promise Charity Event

“There is only one remaining Rape Crisis centre for the whole of London.

That’s one small centre for 3.9 million women. The staff and volunteers who run the centre work with constant danger of closing over their heads and can never be sure that their core funding costs can be met from year to year.

During the run-up to his election, Boris Johnson promised, with much PR fanfare, to pay for three new centres and fund the only remaining centre for at least 4 years. That he will fulfill that promise, or even part of it, is now seriously in doubt. He needs to be poked accordingly.

The consultation opened to decide the funding closes on 20th July and we’re mounting a campaign both to support the remaining centre in Croydon and let Boris know that we want him to keep his promise!

There will be events, press work and lots of asking people to give £2 a month to support the last remaining centre in Croydon.

Please get involved, even if you just let other people know about the campaign. We can make this shameful situation better with just a little help.

The fellow formally known as the Divine David is now the amazing David Hoyle and I’m so happy I get to be a guest in his show tomorrow.

Directed by Nathan Evans, this is sure to be another fucked up, loved up, but not to be sucked up show in this series.  I won’t tell you what I’m going to be doing on stage but let it suffice to say that it’s a show for people who are up for just about anything to happen on stage.

Rats in the walls and life goes on…..

There’s a group of determined rats or mice in my walls.  They scratch and scratch and I wonder what they’re trying to get to?  Is it a vermin Shawshank Redemption?  Where are they going?  Is their goal to escape and make a nice home in one of my bags along side the feathers and fringe?

I still haven’t recovered and my shoulders are a little sore from holding up the SUPER heavy sceptre!

Once I have a moment I’m going to actually sit down and try to remember as much as I can about the night and the build up.  Blogging is strange to me still.
